Founded in the 80's by Professor Loc T. Nguyen, CPA and later became Tax and Finance Solutions in 2016. For almost 40 years, We have served as a trusted business partner to small business clients throughout Orange County. We have been providing a full range of accountancy services including income tax preparation, tax planning, payroll, bookkeeping and business consulting to individuals and to small businesses of various industries. Over the years, we've grown to a firm consisting of a number of accountants, tax professionals, payroll specialists and supporting IT staff. We will work closely with you to understand your business needs and help you to fulfill your plans, goals and dreams.

Mindy has more than thirty years of broad based experience in a wide variety of industries, ranging from auditing for globally leading financial institutions, to top management levels as CEO and CFO for major companies in manufacturing and distribution of the fashion industry and machinery manufacturing, to founding and managing two dental groups of all dental specialties in Los Angeles and Orange County. Equipped those extensive experience in diversified industries and her broad networking resources, she came back to public accounting and has been advisor for a number of high net worth clients and their related entities in obtaining working capital for their business growth as business and commercial loans from major lenders. Her emphasis to public accounting, serving high net worth individuals and their related entities, professionals, investment and manufacturing companies, especially those in need of raising capital for their businesses. Mindy began her career as an auditor with BancAmerica Commercial Lending, Inc., a division of Bank of America, specializing in lending multi millions to companies in need of working capital for growth. For the next five years, she had stepped up to Chief Financial Analyst/Audit Manager for CCB Business Credit, Inc., a subsidiary of Canadian Bank; Heller Financial, Inc., subsidiary of Fuji Bank, was the second largest bank globally. In 1996, Mindy joined an international garment/textile company as a Chief Financial Officer for 7 years. She was later promoted to be its Chief Executive Officer for another 8 years. Her involvement had played a major role in the company’s sales revenue growth from $12 million to over $150 million during the 15 years span. Mindy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Accounting at Cal State University at Long Beach; passed the CPA exam in November 1986. She is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Lucian was trained as a computer scientist. After a brief stint in this field, he found himself attracted to the Accounting field. He furthers his accounting and tax knowledge and skills by attending classes in the evening and by working at Mr. Loc Nguyen, CPA’s office for the past 10 years. Lucian obtained his E.A. license in early 2016 and currently working on his CPA license. Lucian assumes the role of Tax Manager.

Thuytien was trained as an electrical engineer/computer programmer and worked in the tech industry for over twenty years. The next 10 years, her experience includes co-founding and managing a pharmacy, providing operations and accounting services to 2 beauty schools, in addition to working part- time at Mr. Loc Nguyen, CPA’s office. Thuytien assumes the role of Office Manager.
